Located in Le Breuil, in the heart of the Marne Valley, its 20-hectare vineyard extends over the best crus of the Champagne region between the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs.
Maison Pierre Mignon embodies the excellence of a family tradition passed down from generation to generation. For more than a century, the family has passionately cultivated its unique terroir and perpetuated the demanding art of champagne making. The story begins in 1892, when Octave Mignon installed the first presses, laying the foundations of what would become a renowned house. Over the decades, each generation has contributed to shaping its identity, combining ancestral know-how and a constant quest for quality. However, it was Pierre Mignon who marked a decisive turning point by giving the House its real growth. Thanks to his vision and commitment, he firmly anchored the Maison Pierre Mignon among the most prestigious in the Champagne landscape.
Today, the story continues with Céline and Jean-Charles Mignon, worthy heirs of this family passion, who continue the work of their ancestors by upholding the values and excellence of the House. Jean-Charles is the technical director, a perfectionist at heart, who takes particular care in an ultra-rigorous selection of the best grapes at harvest. He shapes his Champagnes like a goldsmith, with passion and great precision. “In each of my vintages, I look for elegance, finesse, freshness while keeping a beautiful aromatic aspect with always a touch of greed while scrupulously respecting the typicity of the terroir”. Celine is the commercial director ensuring the House committment to excellence is clearly communicated to clients and embodies the elegance and passion that have brought Champagne Pierre Mignon to life for years.
Champagne Pierre Mignon has always scrupulously ensured the optimal quality of its grapes, the only guarantee for making great Champagnes. The Mignon family has committed its vineyard to sustainable viticulture and obtained HVE level 3 certification in 2019. Part of the vineyard, cultivated according to the principles of organic viticulture, obtained its certification in 2024. The entire estate is equipped with a Grander water revitalizer, a vortex-generating system that restructures and ‘reinforms’ the water. This energized water is then used for all treatments and tank cleaning. It also helps to harmonize and revitalize the energy of the place.
