We do not have a minimum order value: we are delighted to sell a single bottle, be that a standard size, magnum or half bottle..

We strongly believe in pricing our wines fairly in the first instance. This means that we can consistently offer you good and honest value (we do not believe in the practice of over-inflating a bottle price to then immediate discount it).

With that all said, we do love a good party! If you are hosting a large event and interested in ordering 60 bottles plus, please contact us directly.

We are a small, family-run company and our stock is held UK wide, so delivery is subject to various conditions. We aim to deliver your order within 5 working days, but often this is quicker. If there is an urgency, we will always do our best to meet your deadline – please email us directly at info@mokefinewines.co.uk.

Absolutely, simply enter the information at checkout in the order notes box. We will do everything we can to accommodate this and will let you know if there are any issues.

Yes. While we do not have a physical shop, we are very happy for you to collect from us directly. If you select this option, you will need to make sure you bring your payment card with you as we will need to check it for ID purposes and cannot release an order without it.  We will send you an email or telephone you to let you know when it can be collected. It can take up to 5 working days for us to get your order out of bond. If you need it sooner, please email us at info@mokefinewines.co.uk.

Not always! The images on our website are purely for illustrative purposes only and often show older vintages. Quite often, packaging, closure, physical bottle and bottle colour can change in the same vintage, which is beyond our control.

If you wish to return your order for whatever reason, we ask that you do so promptly and within 7 working days from receipt of goods. Bottles must remain unopened, intact and in their original packaging (which must still be in its original condition). Once the goods are collected and inspected, we will reimburse you for the full cost of your order minus a surcharge of £25.00 for collection*. If you fail to make the goods available for collection within 14 days of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.

*for mainland UK addresses; non mainland addresses will incur higher rate surcharge.

Inevitably there will be the occasional breakage in transit. If your wine does not arrive in perfect condition, please contact us promptly and we will be happy to arrange a suitable solution. It is very helpful to receive images if the wine is broken in transit – please email photographs to info@mokefinewines.co.uk if you are able to do so.

From time to time the odd faulty bottle rears its ugly head. In the unfortunate event of this happening, please let us know straight away and retain the bottle plus stopper and contents so we can arrange for it to be collected and returned to us for examination. Please note that faulty wines can only be returned and credited up to 90 days from your receipt of the order. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace any mature wine over 10 years of age and these wines are purchased ‘sold as seen’.

Yes, we’d be delighted to supply you with tasting notes. Please add a comment at check-out or, better still, give us a call.

We are very conscious of the environmental impact packaging presents, not to mention the spiralling costs associated with packaging and deliveries. Frankly, we’d much rather you pay for what’s in the bottle than the printing on the side of a box that is typically disposed of so we have made the decision not to use branded packaging.  

We actively ensure all recyclable products are discarded appropriately and we rely on technology to communicate with our customers and actively discourage printing, the use of paper and we do not print copies of our wine list. Unusable wooden pallets are provided to a third party company for chipping and recycling.

Our local deliveries are packaged in either original boxes or reused boxes with minimal packaging. Deliveries further afield are carried out on our behalf either by London City Bond through their own network of drivers, or by APC. 

London City Bond typically delivers wine in their original boxes or unbranded boxes with minimal packaging. The wines delivered through the APC network are typically boxed up in unbranded boxes and packaged safely using recycled materials. To read their environmental policy, please click here.
