2020 Pinot Noir Rosé, Pays d’Oc, Lieux Perdus, Languedoc, France – £9.75

2017 Aliança Dão, Aliança Vinhos de Portugal, Dao, Portugal – £9.50

Flavours of plum, black fruit, mocha and dark chocolate are layered amongst supple tannins and the finish is long and juicy.

2020 Viña Borgia Borsao Organic Garnacha, Bodegas Borsao, Camp de Borja, Spain – £9.00 (Organic)

Garnacha is sourced from organically cultivated vineyards, and vines of average age 10-30 years. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. 2020 Percheron Shiraz Mourvèdre, Western Cape, South Africa – £8.50

Sourced from traditional growers in the Swartland area of the Cape. The soil is mainly Malmsbury shale with loamy soil on the higher grounds and sandy loam lower down the slopes, interspersed with rich Hutton soils. Co-fermented Shiraz and Viognier do their thing whilst waiting for the later Mourvèdre to create this threesome. The sandy nose suggests summer pudding, black cherries and crushed raspberries with notes of aromatic spice and a latent creaminess. Ripe and juicy on the palate which is at once vibrant and dark. The result is a rich, dark wine, packed with fruit and chocolatey notes and a big savoury heart.

2020 Adobe Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon, Emiliana Central Valley, Chile – £9.95 (Organic)

Fresh and fruity aromas of blackberry, spicy and a hint of smokiness, the palate is concentrated and smooth with vibrant plum, red fruit and a delicate herbal note. Part of this wine was aged in oak barrels for 6 months and later reblended to achieve a more complex character, leaving silky tannins and a medium bodied structure that is easy to drink.
