FINE & EVERYDAY WINE
2022 Toscana, Italy, 75cl
Intensely perfumed, this unusual blend of Sangiovese and Petit Verdot is from vines cultivated just 20 km from the coast. A vibrant, full flavoured red with ripe plum and wild bramble notes on the nose and palate. Offering a typical Mediterranean character of warmth and spice, abundant with red berry and cherry fruit, the lick of acidity and supple tannins keep everything perfectly balanced!

Heaphy Vineyards is a small winery in the north-west corner of New Zealand’s South Island, a region named Nelson Tasman, situated high above the Tasman Bay on the Moutere Hills. The 10 ha of vineyards were first planted in 1973 making them amongst the very oldest productive vineyards in New Zealand, and they are defined by Moutere’s signature clay soils.
