A perfect blend of Garganega and Chardonnay grown from a mixture of clay, sand and silt East facing slopes, post fermentation, the wine is allowed to rest on its lees for about five months which results in a lush textural palate. Combining floral notes, citrus and the aromatics of white stone fruit – luscious peach, apricot and nectarines – this is tempered on the palate with a mineral structure and refreshing acidity. This is extremely versatile with food from seafood to poultry and pulses.
The Biscardo Family have been making wine from their base in Soave for over 150 years and are currently led by brothers Maurizio and Martino. During the course of Maurizio’s long career, he has consulted for well-known wineries around Italy and in doing so came across the vineyards for their Puglian wines. Both the Pugliese and Veneto wines are characterised by an irresistible drinkability, aromatic purity and exceptional value for money.
