2024 Veneto, Italy, 75cl
This delicious organic rosé is produced from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes which are softly pressed, with only a few hours of skin contact to give the delicate rosé colour. Aromas of redcurrant and citrus with lightly savoury notes. The palate is fresh and zesty with berry and pomegranate fruit balanced by crisp acidity and an appetizingly dry, sour cherry finish. A really delicious rosé to enjoy in the sunshine.

So much of this is due to their high quality vineyards: fanastic terroir, aspect, incline and low-yielding vines The Quinta do Retiro Novo estate, an exceptionally fine grade A vineyard in the Rio Torto valley where all vinification takes place. Fladgate Partnership recognised the quality of this small house and purchased it in 2013 to sit alongside Taylor’s, Fonseca and Croft in their portfolio.
